Why families choose us

A strong start

We help every child feel safe, included and confident from their very first day.

“Since starting Larnook P.S. in grade two, my daughter has come leaps and bounds. Not only have they helped her become a confident reader, but they have helped her become independent in general. Larnook being such a small school, you can be sure your kid won't be left behind. They also offer a lot of other extracurricular activities that ensure the kids have fun and unique learning opportunities. Thank you to all the amazing staff at Larnook”. – Jamie

Support for every family

Our teachers and learning and wellbeing support teams work with our families. We co-design plans that help students learn in the way that works best for them.

“Wanting to transition my two, ND and socially anxious, children from distance ed back into school for the social benefits - I settled upon Larnook PS for it's intimate size and beautiful rainforest setting. We came for the ambience and stayed for the staff support. Having moved through a number of schools in the past, I can genuinely say that the staff at Larnook PS are heads and shoulders above many other schools in their commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment where each child and parent feels seen and heard. My eldest went from being terrified of people to wishing we'd found this school years ago. My youngest struggles with school but the staff make transition as seamless as possible and are very understanding. We are blessed to have found such a wonderful school with a dedicated staff in a calm, beautiful environment." - Michelle.

High quality education

We offer our students a wide range of subjects and opportunities. This empowers them to learn, develop skills, and discover their passions.

"As a parent I greatly value the unique culture and quality of education that Larnook provides my children- they are genuinely known, valued and supported as individuals. I believe this personalised approach, combined with the opportunities to build confidence, responsibility and meaningful connections across different age groups, provides an educational experience that is difficult to replicate in a larger school setting." Julia
