Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
At our school, gardening is a hands-on way for students to connect with nature, learn responsibility, and work together. Through planting, growing, and harvesting, students develop patience, teamwork, and an understanding of sustainability—all while enjoying the fresh air and pride of nurturing life from the ground up.
Students love cooking with fresh produce from our garden—learning healthy habits, teamwork, and the joy of creating delicious meals from food they’ve grown themselves.
At our school, we proudly commemorate ANZAC Day to honor the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of the men and women who have served our country. Through respectful ceremonies and learning activities, students reflect on the importance of remembrance, gratitude, and peace.
Our school values coming together to celebrate and connect. Community events and celebrations bring students, families, and staff together to share culture, achievements, and joy—strengthening our sense of belonging and school spirit.
["We love our school for its supportive community and commitment to every student’s success. Our child feels safe and inspired every day.”] — a parent of Larnook Public School
